MF135 diesel power steering doesnt work

hey i was wondering if anyone out there has had any problems with their power steering on the old MF135 diesel. i believe its a 1974, i've read its more of a power assist, but i'd like to know if theres any common problems out there so it makes the troubleshooting a little easier on me.

start standard hyds trouble shooting.

check resv for oil.. check filter.. check for flow.. check for pressure..

disconnect hoses and or rod ends as needed.
post back.
