My 1240 was idling the week before last while hooking to an implement, and it just shut off. I tried to start it again, to no avail. My son cracked the front line on the pump, and some air escaped, and the tractor started up again. I thought all I had was just a vapor lock. A week later, I'm hooking up again, tractor idling, and it again shut off. I tried to repeat the procedure of cracking the front fuel lines, but it won't do anything. I tried loosening the other two lines to see if it made any difference, and the only line that had any fuel was the last one of three. Have I got a fuel pump problem, or what?
