MF1020, in kentucky

hey there, a friend of mine has a MF1020, with the optional powersteering and someone has messed with the spool, that controls the oil flow, basically the thread on the end of the spool is been stripped re threaded causing slope and seal failer, causing leaking

i will attach a pic to show you

anyway, just wondering where we can find parts, agco's part system brings up not much, i have already told him to take it to a hydraulic shop (thats what i would do here in NZ), seals and o-rings are pretty common, its just the end of the spool which could be a issue, but he still is interested in maybe locating a wrecking yard with the parts needed

anyone got suggestions??

That going to cost me! That dealer is less than 12mi. from me(obviously they could use some advertising skills as i been in this area 50+yrs) and I was not aware they existed. I got to go wander around there now and find some stuff I might "need".

hey there i will pass the message on to my friend,

i worked in owensboro (where my friend still is), a few years ago, i do remeber that tractor salvage yard, but didn't think they did MF stuff, thought they had mainly grey market stuff
.....

i need to find some pics for you, last year he used it to pull a 4 row JD7000 corn planter lol......

I am also always on the out look for stuff that I might need. Salvage yards are the coolest places for that kind of stuff because you never know what your going to find.
