Thanks, that helps. I will check the current ones and see what they are. Am I correct in assuming, that smaller ones move faster, but have less power? That would make sense to me.

OK I went out and did some looking. The existing INCORRECT ones are Spencer #20X12-L 20TC12-112, all 4 of them. Assuming CT12 means 12" stroke, and that's what it measures, extended, but that leaves about 1-2" short of the dump stops. The name tag does list working PSI at 2500. Based on this I assume the 2 for the main arm are too short also, possibly.

The rod is either 1" or 1 1/16", I didn't put caliper on it, but can when ordering date gets closer.

Correct that smaller means faster and less power.

Does it hit the retract stops?

Being short of dump stops tells me you need a longer stroke cylinder. With those tie-rod/clevis cylinders.....you loose alot with the clevis length. IE: a 12" stroke cylinder of that type is longer than one that has welded cross tubes like a loader cylinder. You can possibly get a 14" stroke cylinder......that has the same retracted length.

No, it doesn't hit either stop. I figured the welded cylinders might be like that. The cross tubes sure looked a lot closer to the cylinder. I would still like to get measurements from original equip, but this will surely help if that does not happen.

Looking at your picture in post #7, you're cylinders are mounted up side down. The ram should be attached at the loader bucket. Then the hoses would not be moving as the cylinder is activated.

True but the loader frame brackets won't allow simply reversing the cylinders. Maybe someone cobbled those onto the loader first? Hmm
