Well, I was just about to pull the trigger on a 2010 CX110 until I ran across a couple of MF's for about the same price. The CX has 1500 hours, the 2008 5445 has under 500, and the 2006 5460 has around a 1000. All with cab and loader, the CX has the Xtra shift 24/24 and the dealer says the MF's have the Dyna4. I've always been partial to Massey, have a 150 -- any thoughts? Any significant strengths of one over the other? Dealer location for the MF is a little closer, both would be an hour or a little better away. Thanks in advance.
MF 5445, 5460, or McCormick CX110?

Between the two MF i would go with the 5460. I have driven and sold a lot of the 5400 and i love the Dyna 4 in them. Does the one your looking at have the eco pto in it.
No economy PTO -- well, not that the (JD) dealer knows of. The 5445 looks new -- 207 hours -- but he says is a 2008 pre-T3, which I have read is woefully under powered. The 5460 is a 2006 and has a busted left rear fender where they say something kicked up while discing...I don't know, but the fiberglass sure is busted out. It has 900 hours on it. Same price for both. I was leaning toward the 5445 b/c of condition before I read several say that they are way underpowered for a tractor of that frame size and will bog down with a 15' rotary.

The 5445 will pull the batwing in good mowing conditions but will bog in think heavy stuff. I would still go with the 5460 for the add hp. You could always fix the fender. This is JMO.
