Can anyone tell me what fluid is used in a shuttle shift tractor? Some say auto transmission fluid and others say a very expensive case lube at 140.oo for 5 gal. pail
Can you use some aftermarket oil? Thanks for your time,
Terry T

Thanks for the input,
Is your tractor a 4 cyl perkins? and is the gear oil sae 80 or heaver oil? Just purchased mine , its a 1970. When you give it some gas you can feel it sort of drop in gear. Is this normal? Thanks for your time.
