Comparison MF 40 3 PT hitch issues

Lift stopped working. Removed center lid and found big crack in cylinder and piston. Anybody been though this before? Have books.

I've never had to do this work, but several other guys on this board have successfully completed a hydraulic lift overhaul. They are very similar in many different models. Parts are readily available, uprated in some respects, and the assemblies were designed to be overhauled. Have a look back through the index .... you'll find what you need.
