Hi I'm looking at my first tractor. I've found an MF 35 deluxe with a gas motor in excellent all original condition, with basically all four tires new.

Sounds like you have stumbled on a great buy. The gas engine is actually preferred by lots of people....I'm one of them. There is a convenience factor and they are quieter. A heavy low RPM gas engine with a good governor - like those Continentals in the MF - has a lot of the same running characteristics that folks associate with diesels. It will have plenty of power.

yep.. tires are always a consideration.

I've bought tractors for cheap, that, once I replaced the 4 ratty tires, I already had more inthe tractor than the purchase price!
