Tractor
2004 New Holland TN70DA with 32LC loader, 2000 New Holland 2120 with Curtis cab, 7309 loader
My New tractor searches have lead me to the utility tractor market. I'm finding out that for a few more $$ I can get a lot more tractor.

JerryG has mentioned to me (a few times) to look at the 3300 series tractors. I went to the web site and looked at the specs. Seems like the 3315 is what I'm looking at to give me my mid 40's pto hp. I can't find any info about loaders. Also What series to look at "S", "F", "V", "GE". Do they offer a hydraulic shuttle in the 3315?

Any ideas on rough price for one with a cab and loader?

Derek,
You will have to look at the specs to determine the series that would be right for you. Each series has different height, width and ground clearance. From what I understand most dealers are installing Alo Quickie loaders on them. If I am at my dealers in the next few days, I will ask him about price. That is where I saw them, I don't think that he has one with a cab. He told me the prices a while back and I was shocked that they were as low as he told me, but I can't remember the exact numbers.

Thanks Jerry

There are only 2 Massey dealers around. One is actually the closest tractor dealer to me than any other. The only problem is he never has any inventory, usually only one or to tractors, its been that way for many years. The other just recently got into compacts and has dad very large ag tractors a long time. So we'll see.

Those ALO loaders are supposed to be really nice, right??

The Alo's are one of the nicest loader made. If you ever get a chance to look at one, do it. They are to loaders like Bradco is to backhoes.

It looks like the 3315 only comes in S,GE,and V configurations. The V is vineyard,so it is the narrow model. The GE looks to be a little longer, wider and have a bit more ground clearence.

As for the power shuttle, not from what I can see. These are SAME tractors with a Perkins in them.

I contacted my second nearest MF dealer. He was aware of the 3300 series, a good thing. The not so good thing is is had no information about themand never sold one. He said he would get some info and let me know.

We'll see.

These are more of Specialty O&V tractors than normal utility models. So you might run into not many dealers selling or even having much knowledge of them unless you are in a O&V area.

Same for me on the shuttle. Yes, they are made by SAME, but it is amazing the differences between the SAME branded tractor and the MF. My dealer has had both. After I sat on the SAME, he told me that I would like the MF better, to go check it out. I did and Yes I did. All of the controls are better located on the Massey. When setting on the SAME, my 220 pound rears would be getting jabbed by levers and such on both side. The Massey had no such problem, the levers and such was all positioned where they easy to get to, but were out of the way and convenient. So I guess I am saying the the Massey is a SAME, but it has been specked totally different. BTW, Wow did it sound sweet.

These tractors are being sold in certain pockets in California. Specilty crops narrow grape plantings, orhards etc. There is no better engine on this earth than a Perkins, and there is alot of Sames in different configuration and the drive trains seemed to be OK

Ι heard that many Same utility tractors have overheating problems in the hot days of the spring-summer, so i think that we should be more careful about the MF 3300 series. I dont like that Same mades the 3300 for Agco /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif. Does anybody buy a tractor, only from the position of the controls?
