The power steering on my MF30 seems to work fine when cold but once the tractor warms up the PS seems to go away. The manual says use fluid meeting spec MF M-1129A. I found out that WalMart evidently changed their fluid and the WalMart fluid I added no longer meets M1129A (it does meet M1141, M1143, and M1145) Would this fluid be the problem? I went out and bought some fluid that does meet M1129A and will add it when I can. In the mean time is there anything I can add that would make the PS work better until all the old fluid works it's way out? The only way I know to drain the system is to either pull the PS pump (bolts are hard to get to) or I can try to syphon out some of the old fluid. Any Ideas?
