I just ordered a manual for a 283 before anyone tells me to order one but i want to change the hydraulic oil filter and need to use the tractor. I found what says is a paper element filter for $9.95? If anyone can tell me the location of the filter and also can you tell me where to find the drain plug and how much and what kind of oil would be greatly appreciated. Also is there a foolproof way to know its full of oil like a spill over bolt hole . Thank you.
