MF 230 Power Steering

I've looked at several prior posts, and am a little confused. I have a MF 230 diesel with hydrostatic steering. I'm gettig ready to replace the upper shaft seals on the hydrostatic pump, but am unsure as to what to use for power steering fluid. Some older posts reference Dexron ATF, some say automotive power steering fluid, others say use Permatran II. So I now come to you, my friends, what do you recommend as the proper fluid to use?

G'day Ken Dexron ATF is fine to use in that system as is the Permatran, I would go with whatever you have to hand

Thanks Jon, it looked like Dexron (red), but just wasn't sure.
