MF 1652 cab w/Dyna QPS is this a fair deal?

Looking for a price check, does this sound like a good deal? Masey Ferguson 1652 cab w/Dyna QPS, R1 tires, DL-130 loader 72" HD skid steer style quick attach w/rev cutting edge. 39,521. before tax CB-20 backhoe 9,000. + tax.

Sounds pretty close. Will the tires be loaded?

The CB20 sounds high to me. I paid $7900 for one on a 1635 platform at the end of August. I have no idea on the 1652 cab.

Are you paying cash or fin. I just unloaded one yesterday and will be selling for $35000 only diff is my has R4 tires and is a pin type quick hitch. The backhoe does sound like a good price.:thumbsup:

Thanks for the replies; I like the dealer and think they are fair, they seem to really care about their customers. Not planning on loading the tires, I may reconsider after using it for a while however my thought is that it should weigh enough for what I'll be doing. Was thinking about the R-4's but decided on the ags for better traction and I'm not planning to be on finished lawn very often. I've been looking at and compairing a lot of tractors, the massey ferguson is built very well. They look to be a better tractor than the other brands in this size/class.

jlsmith, not sure yet, I need a HD 6' cutter and a power rake so I may need financing.

How much of a difference? cash vs financing.

Doug i think you made a realy good choice. The only thing i would say it yes water down the tires it will give for a lot smoother ride.:thumbsup:

In my area they're offering $2500 vs financing. However, that was on a 1643 might be a bit more on the larger model.

Also, $9000 for the CB-20 is a little high. I was quoted $8400 which is high compared to "Flyinh MXZ's" deal ($7900) :thumbsup:

It depends on when they recieved the loader and what year model it is. I have one i can sell for $8300 and the one i just got i have to sell for $8900.

Back in April I was quoted just under $35,000 for the same tractor (Cab - Dyna QPS) with R4 tires and the regular Skid steer bucket (no reversible cutting edge). The backhoe with sub-frame and one bucket was around $7,500.

I'd put Rimguard in the rear tires; and you'll still want 3PTH ballast when moving a full bucket of sand or gravel.
