HELLO TO ALL,
still working on my friends tractor. i have learned to look
for surprises, and unexpected things. i replaced the gas
hose to the carb. i put a caliper on it, 1/4in, then bought
the hose. then i found it had been swaged up to 5/16, on
the very end, and of course the hose would not fit.
adjusted the brakes, and found that standard wrenches
did not fit. turns out to be 18mm. this is on a 1972 tractor.
good luck to all,

If it was built in the UK, it will be metric. And if it was built in Canada ( After 1977 ) it will be metric.

HELLO TO ALL,
i have no idea where is was built, but since it is a
1972 tractor, and all the bolts, and nuts,i have found
so far have been standard, i just thought it was unusual
for this to be metric. I HATE METRIC! i retired from the
machinist trade before everything went metric.
