Hi All!
I'm servicing a 1974 Massey Ferguson 165 Diesel with a spin on oil filter.
The tractor came to me with a WIX 51333 installed. I have searched local parts houses and online (RockAuto, Amazon, eBay, etc) and they are either out of stock or priced at over $50, which just seems silly.
When I cross reference this filter, WIX offers two alternatives: 51460 (the spin on filter I use for diesel MF 135's) and 51459 (the spin on filter I use for the large Perkins engines, like an 1135)
Are either of these filters a safe option for the 165?
My AGCO dealer, who is an hour away, lists the AGCO filter number as: 1447082M1, but is, too, out of stock.
Attached are the filter specs pulled from RockAuto.
