I see where the MF 165 came as a Category I, II or I/II for the 3-point hitch.

Now that I am resurrecting the 1967 MF 165 I snatched (got it for $1500 running and needing some repairs here and there), I am at the point of replacing the lower link arm balls assembly on the left side.

Is it best to leave it all as a Cat I or to try to bump it up to a Cat II? If I go to a Cat II I will need to replace the top link attachments as well as purchase a lower right link end.

Opinions? Experiences?

A '67 165 came as a Cat 1, unless your implements have Cat 11 pins i would leave as is

Leave as Cat 1 or go with the combo 1-2 roll a balls. Ken Sweet
