Hi,

I was looking through this site, and I might have been mistaken by the quality of the pics, but do the 1433/1440 and 1455 have the same rear axles? Just curious, I am looking to buy around this time next year. I am looking at a 1433 or 1440. It will get used for pulling our manure spreader ( an MF 160 bushel) while our MF 35 will be the one doing the loading. It will also be used for loader work, will it lift square ( 8 foot around 800 pounds or approx.) and round bales. The 35 has a loader also, but I would like the compact to be able to do this too.

Thanks

Will

Hello Will,
I don't have the books on a 1455, but a don't believe they have the same rear axle. The 1455 is a larger class tractor. As far as moving round bales, I use my MF 1440 to to move 4x4 and 4x5s, one at each end. Of course if the ground is very sideline, then it would be a problem.

Hi Jerry,

Sideline? Thanks for the info!! How does it handle the bales? No effort at all? And how does the loader lift? I am sure it would be good and strong for me. When I saw the pic, it looks like the rear axle in my dads MF 35, only his is bigger I think!!

How is the ractor treating you? Which transmission do you have? Sync or powershuttle?

Thanks

Will

I really like it and have had no problems, but I only have about 120 hours on it.
I have a power-shuttle.

Oh ok,

Thanks Jerry. I am looking at ither at 1433 or a 1440. I thing I will go for the 1440 with the turbo for the extra HP, a FEL and a MMM!!! What do yu have with yours?

Look at my Bio. That is just part of my attachments. The Turbo is nice, but I let it cool for a minute or so, before shutting down. I am always afraid of bearing coking. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif But the turbo is worth the small concession.
