Price Check mf 135 price help

going to look at a mf 135 guy is asking $2700 for it he said he was all most sure it would need tires soon the ones on it is dry rotted is this to much for this tractor thats all i know about it right now will post pictures and more info tomarrow after i go lok at it

I sold my 1964 MF135 diesel for $3,500 three years ago. It had 3,700 hours on it. It wasn't in showroom condition but is was in good condition. It was ready to work when I sold it. If I remember correctly it weighed 3,200# with the tires filled and had 38HP. The tires had 60% rubber and some dry rot but did not leak.

I bought a 1964 MF135 diesel for $3600 in Jul06. A Delux model with Multipower.

It was pretty ratty, but it ran OK when I bought it.





I cleaned it up and repainted





Tractor tires (new) are pricy. You might want to check into used tires to replace those rotten ones.

If it runs good and the hydros and pto work, sounds like a good price to me. What type motor does it have? The perkins diesel is the popular choice. I have the perkins gas version, I would buy either version at that price. Happy Hunting, TB

I have owned an Oliver OC3 trac loader with a Perkins gas motor and my old MF135 had Perkins diesel. I consider a Perkins motor one of the best ever made.

I paid $3k for mine, which included a JD brush hog, new box blade w/teeth, and boom pole...plus a $200 injector pump repair that someone else could have done on their own. Love it, except the clutch wears me out!

The price isn't bad but I would for sure price new tires if it is gotta have them. Like somebody said... tires aren't cheap and that could be the difference whether it is worth the $ or not.
