I bought it thru west kentucky tractor parts thinking it was going to be a direct bolt on but it was not. If I was doing it again I would get my valve thru northern or burden surplus. I mounted mine on the rt. side fender and made a block that bolts on to the trans housing where the factory valve mounts, I will get some pictures later today.

Here are some pics of my valve install. I bolted my valve to my roll bar only because I didnt want to drill any holes in my fender.

It's a nice tractor until you need to find parts for it ...... mine has been sitting for 4 months, as I can't find an engine or parts to rebuild it ..... Buy a John Deere ... 100% better tractor , and the parts will always be there if you need them... even 30 years down the road!

You know those deeres are yanmar powered?

Do you have a number of someone that has an engine or parts for my piece of crap Massey ..... I would take a Yanmar over any pile of scrap Iseki/ Isuzu powered garbage !....

I had a 1240 33hp with loader and backhoe. Awesome tractor, sold it to upgrade in HP and horepower. At the time Isold the tractor ACGO was doing its dance with Catepiller with the challenger tractor. Essentially this put all the small dealers out of business, at least in my area. So when i moved up I purchased a kubota. Things have changed and there are several dealers in my area now. if I knew that was going to be the case I would have bought another massey.
