I want to put a canopy on my 1250, abs plastic or aluminum?

Get a Well Ag aluminum diamond plate. It is the best, most durable canopy that I have seen on the market. They also make an all metal canopy that can be painted your choice of colors.

Thanks for the confirmation, my massey dealer is insisting I buy aluminum. He said they are much better than plastic, I wanted to hear it from a disinterested party.

doc, Jerry has the diamond plate aluminum and I had the steel painted to match the tractor from Wells Ag Co. in Elm Mott, TX. Very tough canopies and the framework made a good place for me to mount two tiltmeters (front to back and side to side), a 4" x 6" rear view mirror, and a trapezoid light to the front and flood light to the rear.

Doc19691969, I have the Wells Ag (painted metal) and really enjoy it. It is very well made, insulated, and does not rattle. It is such a pleasure to sit in the shade.

They're working on it, but pretty slowly. The future site is here, but it does have their phone numbers. Last I knew, they only sell through tractor dealers, but you can certainly call them and find out. They're located in Elm Mott, TX, on I-35 just north of Waco.
