I have a MF 1260 with a 1246 loader. I have a leak developing where the joystick plate mounts to the control head (loader mounted control head). Before I go tearing into the control head, I had a few questions:
-Where can I find an exploded view of the control head parts?
- It looks like the original seal was something like RTV; is that correct or is there some sort of gasket I should be using? (From the looks of it, the previous owner did some DIY work on the hydraulics).
-Once I pull this plate off, what should I expect...will a bunch of springs and such come flying out at me?
-After I reseal the leak and assemble the control unit do I need to bleed the system?
