MF 1225 Sub Compact Diesel

I need to change the carrier bearing on the front axle drive shaft (the shaft coming out of the transmission) on my MF 1225 HST. it looks like the bearing is held in place by an eccentric collar. Has anyone had to deal with this problem, if so how is the best way to loosen the collar?
