I found a couple of small shavings in my Kioti DK35 HST at the 50 hr service and from what I've read on these forums that is to be expected. I guess that's why they have the 50 hr service.

Thanks for all of your comments. I used my machine 1 hour yesterday and 2 more this morning bush hogging. Everything is working great. I saved the large piece of metal and I am going to email it to the service manager as suggested. Thanks for the piece of mind!
