Messick\'s Equipment in PA

Has anyone dealt with Messick's Equipment in PA? They have 2 locations, Elizabethtown and Abbottstown, and I was wondering how they are to work with (service, etc.) For a BX2200, FEL, MMM and box scraper they came in $750 less than an Internet deal for the same equipment. Costing less and only 21 miles away might be a deal I can't refuse!

Assume the service sucks. (I have no experience with that dealer). Figure on doing the service yourself. These guys have no respect (generally speaking) for other peoples property. Don't let them chain it to the trailer. Make em strap it!

And where is this from?
Their service is top notch, respectful of property and for your information, using straps is illegal,,, Look up your DOT laws,, Before you come screaming in here like this Rogue, do some reading/research first, You almost sound like another dealer disgrunteld that you can't make it.
I've bought a tractor and rider tractor from Messicks without a single problem. Had friends do the same,, Never had a problem, I still get all my filters, oils, etc from them and I'm quite a ride from them being on the MA/CT state lines,, 375 miles or more?

While I ended up not buying from them (found another mini-X for the same price much closer), my dealings with them were absolutely top notch. I found myself wishing they were closer to me because they were simply as good as dealers come.

No experience with the dealer but you'll just state they suck. Nice. Are the other 1200+ posts you've had in this forum so thoughtfully written or is this just the first time you've decided to speak from where you sit?

If you've never noticed, Messicks provides a great deal of honest information on this forum; which seems to be a little bit more than can be said for your latest post.

Started reading this without checking dates. Woke me up like a double shot of caffein. Wondered what was wrong with Mike. After Rogue's post I thought I'd woke up in an alternate universe.

Glad to see it's just someone fooling around in the "Way Back Machine". My confidence is restored.

Maybe there should be a "Lazarus Thread" avatar for threads which come back to life after a couple of years.
