The trick is to make sure to warm your hands first! Nothing makes a yellow jacket madder then cold hands!

A magnifying glass and tweezers would probably come in handy also. Here's hoping that "PETA" doesn't get involved. If so "He" may have to hire an attorney on retainer. :laughing:

I found letting them sting me works good!

Or you could get out the tweezers and tell them " Turn your head and cough!"

Bad ju ju. I was working on the house after reading this post. Minding my own business up on a scaffold setting a 8' log and "zap" a lone yellow jacket stung me under the arm....what the???? He got away before I could catch and milk{smash} him.
I was lucky this year and have not run into any others, but I do put out the queen traps every spring, so maybe that actually helps.
