Mechanical to Hydraulic brake retrofit?

I have an old IH 2424 with mechanical brakes. I'm getting fed up trying to maintain them, keep them balanced, keep them working smooth, etc.

Anyone have any ideas on retrofitting the mechanical brakes with hydraulic (just manual hydraulic, not power)?
