Md 1600 hydraulic oil in crankcase

crankcase full of hydraulic oil. bad squealing sound. I don't know where to start looking for cause.

I'd start by considering the shaft seal on my hydraulic pump. You may be able to just replace the seal, have the pump rebuilt by a hydraulic shop, or replace the pump. That should take care of the hydraulic oil in the crankcase. I don't know about the squeal unless the pump is complaining.

Is your machine a Mitsubishi MD1600 ??? This is the Yanmar section.

Just replacing the seal will not fix the problem. The internal seals are bad. It is not a repairable pump. If you supply the numbers off of the end of the pump, i can probably supply you with a new or used pump.
