I am first trying our your site here, My name is Richard and I currently have a tc 35d tractor I love, have a Grapple for front root rake, bucket and forks. No back hoe but I do have the pto in back with the arms to use a landscape rake and I tow the chipper or move the trailer easily with the receiver on back. My questions are this.I am looking at upgrading to more lift , more power more attachments. Have my eyes on a Yanmar CBL40 uses 550 hours pretty good looking powerful machine. This has the impressive backhoe but no arms for the back 3point hitch. Does anyone know if this is wise to be thinking if I welded a receiver on the back of the backhoe bucket to put on the ball to tow the chipper at times into someones yard or to move the trailers around instead of putting the ball on the front bucket and drive the chipper backwards. Also does anyone think this is a good upgrade selling / trading my tractor for around 13K paying 12k to upgrade to this cbl40. Any comments thoughts would be appreciated. I am looking to put wide turf tires on the machine, but dont want to do it twice, so buy the right tractor first them get the ground friendly tires! Richard.
