McCormick CX100 Gearbox Noise

We have a CX100 and it has developed a gearbox rumble. With the tractor stationary and the main stick out of gear, engine running and shuttle in forward or reverse it makes a noise when I release the clutch. When I press the clutch there is no noise. If I put the shuttle into neutral and release the clutch the is no noise.

The noise sounds like a dry bearing.
