The past 3.5 weeks have been really busy here on Bessie's Creek and I used my NH Boomer 3050 with CVT for a variety of projects. Tore down the old 45 year old barn and moved Nursery and Pecan processing machinery to the new barn. Carried a variety of materials and machinery. One of the pieces of machinery (Nursery Container Filler)weighs in at 1600 pounds and I had to lift it 4.5 feet off the ground to a flat bed trailer. Hydraulics groaned and then quit lifting when the unit was barely inches above the trailer floor. Good thing I had the shredder on the back end for counterweight. Also pulled some posts out of the ground with concrete at the base.

Don't forget the rear ballast. Saw the rotary cutter in the first few pics but not after

I agree, I forget the ballast sometimes.....due to laziness on my part. A before and after of the barn.

What's the plan for the concrete pad?

My plan or the wife's plan? I want to keep about 30 feet of the slab on the far left of the picture for a "BBQ"type area. The wife wants it totally removed and native coastal Bermuda planted to make it look like a park. her view is that we already have a huge deck from the back of the house out over the water where we entertain/fish/BBQ already. Look closely near the upper left in the slab picture and you can see the green stained deck. I guess we will have to arm wrestle for the answer!

Nice spot. Nice tractor too. Nothing like having the right equipment for the job.

It would be a nice spot for a BBQ area, better start working out so you can win that arm wrestling competition.
