Max28 Mower Driveshaft

I have a 2014 Max28XL with the 60” deck. I messed up the driveshaft on the mower mowing too high grass. I was told by the Mahindra dealer it would be $1000. to replace! I took it to a drive line rebuilder and they didn’t want to mess with it. Said they couldn’t get parts. I could fix it myself if I could find a universal joint with 1” bore on one side and 3/4” on the other. Anyone have any suggestions on where to get the part? Thanks

Ouch, $1000 is a lot. Not sure if you have a keyed, splined or smooth bore shaft, but replacement joints are out there. Here’s some keyed yokes in the right size at Tractor supply. Grainier has a good supply, but pricey, around $400.
