I am trying to check a few remaining questions about the 48" Gravely HD before purchase. The mow area is 4-acres. About 1/2 an acre has a 25% slope. I've read that some models don't get the right oil flow on slopes (in addition to turnover hazard). What max slope is advised in manual and what is limit of engine? I am cautious on the old riding mower so I believe this little bit will be OK with some common sense. I am looking at HD model #991082?

I have tried to obtain an owner's manual, but I can't get a copy from the website without entering a serial number in addition to the model number. I would like to see an owner's manual before finalizing my decision, but dealer is 40 minutes away. Any help with a manual would be appreciated, too.

Try SN# 000899

If your riding mower was fine, the Gravely should be fine. We have a slope that will just about take you out of the seat, no issues yet.
