Massey's built by Cub?

Has anyone taken a look at the photos section recently?

There are three pictures of new Massey Fergusons being sold in the UK that appear to be repainted cub cadet 2500 series (old style hood, or maybe their 3000 series) and 5000 series.

I don't recall hearing anything being said about MF selling CC products in Europe.

They actually look quite nice w/ the red paint.

Darned if you are not right- I looked on the Massey UK/Ireland site, and that sure looks like most of the Cub Cadet lawn/garden tractor lineup over there to me, all true right down to the specs. Nothing like what Agco is selling as Massey/Simplicity here in the USA. My only question is why import Cub Cadets and not the Agco units they are building here?

My only guess was Cub is building tractors somewhere in Europe, and it would be cheaper for Massey to sell a rebadged Cub in Europe rather than import USA Agco built Massey/Simplicity machines. But, at last, I found no evidence to support my guess. With all this global market BS, nothing surprises me anymore, I think the "global market" is just one huge corporation now, If only we knew who was at the top of it
