masseyferguson 50 oil pressure

have a 64 50 series gas no oil pressure at idle usually around 10 at high rpm around 20 usually 30 rebuilt 1 year ago any suggestions would be appreciated

Was the oil pump rebuilt or replaced when overhauled? Maybe the pressure relief spring broke? Or the seat is cracked. Did it go all at once or over time?

oil pump was rebuilt still has some pressure at higher idle about 15 pounds we cleaned the screen and checked the spring had alot of gasket material like a sealent in the screen know its better but not like it was

15lbs at idle and 30 at 2000 rpm is pretty much normal on them

checked it again has 5lbs at idle 20 lbs at 2000rpms is this enough to use the tractor need to get the garden in thanks for the help

Manual for TO35 with Z134 says minimum 10-15 lbs at idle, 20-30 lbs at 2200 rpm. Is your oil pressure gauge reliable ?, if so i think your relief valve needs shimming.
