The backhoe on my massey 2310 has an issue. The boom slowly goes back down when raised to full up position....and I have no power when digging and pulling towards me. Any ideas?

I would plug in a 3000 psi hyd gage and check some reading.
Could be worn seals on BH cyl.
Worn hyd pump.
Valve spools worn.
Relief valve not set or leaking.
How is the tractor hyd working?

Install a hyd gage in a tee at the IN port and check some pressures. Then see if you can max out all cyl.
You could switch some hoses and check if all cyl are worn.
Re-check the relief valve setting.
If you can get pressures at or close to the BH relief settings, you have verified the the pumps ability to power the hyd system.
