I have a MF178 and need to put in an access track that will have an up and down grade. What is the safe grade for the MF178 - I have a RPOS but am not keen to test it out!!

Alternatively - where would I find out this info??

Any help appreciated.

If you looking for a number then it depends on lots of factors.
- Size of tyres - alters the centre of gravity and there are several sizes by MF.
- Water ballast in tyres - quantity
Most important though is the weight and use of implement.
Traveling downhill dragging a rear implement is quite safe. Traveling up hill doing the same is not a good idea. Reverse up the hill if possible, Most tractor roll overs occur end to end. A good operator will know what is safe and will always try to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible .
