Well, I get the bonehead of the year award! MFRED you are spot on. I never paid much attention to the ignition. Yes, when I heard the "clicking" I assumed that was the glow plugs. I must say that I'm quite embarrassed! The worst part is that I'm not new to the tractor thing. Thank you everyone for helping me with this. I promise next time I'll double check myself before asking!

As stated earlier have the throttle just a touch off of the idle stop,not much,and you will avoid the stall stop,this will help a lot as the temps get colder
