Hello,
I'm having issues with my Massey Ferguson 1522 permissive circuit. The tractor will start and run in neutral, but when shifted into forward or reverse, it dies. I took the cover off around the forward reverse lever and jumped out the indicator switch allowing it to run and drive.
With the jumper in place and before the tractor is moving, engaging the PTO will kill the tractor. After the tractor is moving, the PTO can be engaged normally.
This almost has to be a safety / permissive issue but can not find a wiring diagram or repair manual for the tractor to allow me to trouble shoot the issue. I've tested the relays and fuses under the dash which all seem to be good.
Has anyone seen this problem or have a wiring diagram?
