Massey Ferguson 1433V won't start

I have a 1433V Massey and am having problems, it won't start. It will turn on the glow plugs then when you turn the switch to start it make a one click and nothing nothing works . If it sits over night I go back and try to just start it will click one time and nothing. Any advice? Thanks

The click you hear may be activating your starter solenoid or relay. The contacts inside may be shot or the wire between it and the starter may be loose and need tightened. A more likely suspect could be the battery. You could have it load tested. Of course it's simpler to start by cleaning the terminals and the connector ends of your cables. Look for corrosion on the fittings at the same time. Follow the cable to the point where it grounds on the tractor. Be sure that is clean and secure as well.

do your headlights turn off after trying to start the tractor?. that's a classic sign of either a dead battery or bad electrical connections!..

The lights did not work when I got it. I have tried to jump it off and no luck.

Thanks it was the ground cable the bolt had gotten lose.
