Weather this coming weekend looks like a good time to do maintenance on my Massey Ferguson 1250

Can someone who has one share their list of fluids and filters that they use/prefer?

Is there a good service manual out there that I should purchase?

Nevermind, I finally found my book!

For anyone else who might be looking for the info:

Oil Filter - Wix 51356
Oil Type - 10w-30, or for warmer climates above 14 F use 15w-40
Oil Capacity - 5.1 quarts

Hydraulic Filter - Donaldson P556005
Hydraulic Oil - MF Permatran III or SAE 80 FL-4
Hydraulic Oil Capacity - 6.6 gallons

WIX 51356 is metric threads. I think you want WIX 51360 (it's what I just installed) and the WIX page lists Agco and MF applications.

Hah! But it's leaking. I'll report back when I confirm that you are right.

Wow. I don't know. The WIX 551360 leaked, like it wasn't on tight, but I couldn't tighten it anymore. I replaced the ph4967 that had been on there is it is working fine. Both are standard threads, not metric, so I'm still questioning your choice.

You sure the gasket was on the new one that was leaking?

I'll check again next time I get the chance. There was a single gasket on the WIX filter when I took it off. I wonder if the surface had some dirt on it. It's an awkward position and the tractor stunk of animal crap, so I didn't hang around to analyze the situation.
