massey fergusion 2610

hello i ave a massey fergusion 2610 tractor,on the lift arms the balls where your attachment would go through have 2 different size holes. can i replace this ball with one that has the smaller hole only? thanks

ok talked to massey fergusion no easy way to change balls,if i used a grinder to grind both sides of balls down enough to get keeper pin in, that wouldnt hurt anything or would it?

What size are the holes? They are supposed to be 7/8. Did whoever you talked to think it was strange having different size holes? Pictures would be helpful. I have the 2610's little brother, and I'm not 100% clear on what your talking about.
