I guess all the cold weather shaking of my tech needle made it give up the ghost. The needle fell off. Looks like I have to unscrew the whole dash instrument panel from the inside. After that, How do I get inside? Looks like a number of small screws on the back of the green circuit board. Do I just unscrew these and remove the back panel? Almost want to take my Dremel and cut the plastic in front of the tach, replace the needle, and glue new plexiglass over the hole.

Don't know but I unhook mine for the winter. The cold makes it screech and move all the way to the right.

I have the same problem with my GC2610. I took the tach apart the first time it happened and dropped a small part that I couldn't find. I just put it back together without the part and it works OK until it gets cold.
