Well I baled 200 bales (square) with it thursday evening. So far it's everything I expected but there is one issue that reared its head. In comparison to my 135 it bales much more smoothly. Where as the 135 will get to pulsing when you are in the large windrows this one just plows on through with little effect on the tractor. Starts and runs well. The PTO has no issues at all nor does the 3 point. Loader is good and strong but will need some new pins soon. I would also like to redo some of the hydraulic lines as I can see a cleaner routing of them than they are run currently. One of the remote fittings has a slight drip but I haven't looked into it more than that yet. All in all mainly just maintenance items for the most part.

The issue that concerns me is an unhealthy amount of blowby once it's good and warmed up. I was hoping possibly stuck rings or injector but I have ruled out the injector. Could still be gummed up rings but more likely it needs to be overhauled. Not too happy about that as you can imagine but I like building engines so it's not got me too upset. Wishing I had got it for less now but oh well. In the short term I am building a vapor scavenging device to recover as much oil from the ccv as I can and I'll just run it till I can tear it down.

So far I am really enjoying it. It can do the things I need it for now so even with the issues at hand I am happy I purchased it.

The 390 does look a bit "rough" but tough as nails.
