Just got a 2635 today. I wouldn't go so far as to call them crude, they are just more like a real tractor than anything else. I had a MF1533 which I was really comfortable in, felt quick and nimble, the 2600 series is definitely different. Coming from a 35 the OP should feel right at home. Time will tell of course, but this thing is a tank. They are using a well proven design that is time tested.

I agree totally. I do love our 1635, , but no matter how you slice it, it is still a compact tractor. When I do finslly get some land up north, if I don feel confident in the 1635, a pure bred utility tractor will be needed.

Just this one while it's on the truck. I played around with it for a while this afternoon on the property and showed it to the neighbours. After that it was chore time, and it's now up in the barn. It's a real beast!

For the OP the 2605/2615 are on a slight different frame, a tad smaller, but this gives you an idea of the size. For basic needs it is a real value oriented machine. No frills, but that's OK.
