I am planning on taking a drive to look at a Massey 35 diesel with a perkins diesel, new tires with rims sandblasted and sealed. Is there anything unique to Masseys that I should look out for?
Thanks,
Dave

Crawl under the tractor clutch housing and locate the weep hole on the bottom. There might be a cotter pin in the hole. If not, use a small diameter drill or piece of wire to ream the dirt out of the hole. If a few drops of oil come out, not a problem. If you get a steady stream of oil, you may have a bad rear seal on the crankshaft or the oil pan seal might be leaking.
