I need to replace the front wiper blade on my 2850. Dealer tells me that the blade and arm come as a single part.
I can't see how to remove the arm. Has anyone done it and can give me some advice?
Thanks for the help

I don't know who your dealer is, but they can't read a parts book. The I believe the arm is attached with a nut, but the blade just hooks under the end of the arm. Should be a release tab on the wiper towards the motor that releases the blade.

I would think you could take the wiper off and get one at an auto parts store. Agco wants $36. for the blade.

Thanks for the info. Mine is different. The arm does not have a hook end. Somewhere they made a change. For my stile Massey does not sell a replacement blade. The blade and arm come together for (are you ready for this) $81 plus tax and shipping. That would bring it to almost $100. I don't think so. The do have a source for an aftermarket blade only. It is supposed to fit. It is on order

Reddog, you're/they're right! I guess I can't read a parts book. I was looking at the rear wiper.

Why would they make the front different from the rear?

The front wiper blade should be a NAPA 6-016-A. At least it was on 2860 tractor. A very competent MF dealer parts guy figured this out.

Jeez, I guess it been close to two months since I checked this site. I need to pay better attention. Thanks for the info Lou_B I will defiantly pay my NAPA dealer a visit should be the same.
Another question. Has anyone changed the fuel filter on a Massey 2860. I think I have water contamination in my filter We have have had the coldest Decembers on 20 years and I think my fuel gelled and I may have water in the fuel. I always add Power Service in the white jug when I fill my 55 gallon transfer tank. I have also added 911 to the tractors fuel tank and that didn't seem to clear up the bogging down and stalling. It will idle OK but when I put in gear I can't get 50 feet. Any advice will help
