Oil & Fuel Massey 245 gasoline engine

I could use some assistance from anyone that has a 245 Massey with a Continental engine. It will start and run/idle until I put it under load then it may run 20 feet or a 100 yards then dies as though it is out of gas. Let it sit it will start back only if I choke it. I have rebuilt carb, drained and cleaned tank and fuel line, new filter and still same results. Plenty of fire to coil and plugs. Any suggestions? Thanks

Maybe a sticky needle valve? Possibily a gas tank vent ? Maybe stuff in the fuel line that stops the flow but doesnt make it to the filter. Or Fuel pump

I forgot to add it is a natural aspiration/gravity flow carb. I did blow a lot of old rusty looking stuff out of the fuel line. After I put it back together it then ran long enough for me to plow my garden then started the same pattern. Problem is it ran fine last season and over the winter. if it is like my mf 204 it will have a strainer on the fuel line at the carb remove the fuel line and remove the filter fitting from the carb and clean out
