Hello all;
Well I hope someone on here can provide me with some direction.
I have a 1982 Massey Ferguson 205-4. It runs a Toyosha 2 cylinder diesel with approx 3,000 hours.
Here's the problem, The tractor starts great, quickly and generally with only a short time using glow plugs. After running / working for 30-45 minutes it acts like it's running out of fuel, you can throttle up a bit and it will keep running but within a few minutes it will continue to slow and then stall. It will not restart, leave it for a while, less than an hour and it will restart but it happens again after a short period, leave it for longer, over night for example, and it starts and runs great for that same 30-45 minutes.
I have replaced the fuel lines, fuel filter and checked for obstructions in the tank. Flow is good to the injection pump and the gas cap is venting properly. I have run it without the cap and it still happens. Also changed the oil and filter.
Any ideas or experience with this?
Thank you
Mark
