Tractor
Massey Ferguson GC 2300, 1954 Case SC, 1952 Farmall Cub, 1946 John Deere A, Massey Ferguson 130
After a week of ownership I can say with authority, love it! Compared to my GC2300, the 1825e has done everything with nearly no effort. I rarely put it in 4x4 as the 1825e with the rear tires filled has a ton of traction. Working the Woods 5ft tiller is a breeze for the tractor. I use the tiller to break up the yard so I can smooth it out. So far I am not regretting going with the 25 HP model. Before I was using a disk harrow, box blade, and a landscape rake. Breaking up the grass clumps the old way was a lot of work compared to using the tiller. I installed a hydraulic top link yesterday and look forward to trying it out this weekend. That should make using the box blade a lot easier.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your new tractor.

What other models did you consider when you were looking and what made you choose the 1825e?

When I first started looking I looked at the 2025R and the B2601 because I thought the 1825 E was too big. I started to rule out the John Deere after reading many reviews. Then I compared the B2601 and the LX2610. After looking at the LX and then going back to Massey I really liked the MF even more. I did like the LX but the Massey felt better to me and it's a more capable tractor and the price was cheaper too. I tried to go look at Yanmar couldn't find any. I also looked at the new Summit tractor, that one looked really nice for the price. It's so tempting but I was really worried about buying a new brand tractor.

Congratulations on your new Massey, how about some pictures of it clean or dirty (tractor) will be ok.

Oh you have a little GC also. I had the GC2400 for about 5 years. Nice little tractor. We have the 1750M
now on the farm. Very nice tractors.
