Wow. 15 minutes in turnouts is enough to tire me out and get soaked in sweat. I don't know what California weather is like in December, but not overheating would seem to be a real challenge, that stuff keeps your heat in as well as it keeps heat out.

I had to look at the pictures, but it looks like he is sane enough to wear running shoes and not the matching boots.

I'm going to print this out and pass it around at the fire hall Monday. Some of our members think climbing the stairs to our second floor meeting room is enough of a workout. I would like to see the results of his effort if the news reports on it after the event.

Temp is suppossed to range from 38F in the AM to 60F in the afternoon, in Sacramento on Sunday for the marathon...

Ya, it is easy to work up a sweat in full structure gear!

The marathon was today; I was out duck hunting. I looked but did not see any info on how he did. I'll post updates if there are any.
